Meet Our Expert Dentist
Dr. Fakirani has been providing dental care as a General Dentist to Calgarians for over 30 years. After all these years, he still has tremendous passion and enthusiasm for dentistry. He strives to customize treatment according to each patient’s needs and circumstances. He pursues regular continuing education courses to keep up with new technologies and innovations in dentistry. Over the years, he has mentored numerous dentists with the goal of providing optimal dental care for the whole family, young and old.
In his spare time, Dr. Fakirani enjoys spending time with his family and friends and pursues a variety of activities and sports including tennis, golf, hiking, biking, and swimming. Occasionally, he could be overheard humming songs – whether it’s The Beatles or Lady Gaga!!
Driven By Passion
Dr. Fakirani graduated from McGill University, Montreal with a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981. After graduation, he completed an additional year of General Practice Residency at the Montreal General Hospital. Here he gained further experience and training in disciplines like White fillings, Extractions, Root Canal Therapy, Periodontal (Gum & Bone) treatment, Oral Pathology and Crowns & Bridges.
Dr. Jina Park
Dr. Jina Park is so excited to join our McKnight Dental team! She was born in Seoul, South Korea, but moved to Canada at a young age of 3 years old. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta.
She enjoys treating patients in all aspects of dentistry and especially loves getting to meet different people and educating them about improving one's oral health! She is excited to serve the community and provide optimal dental care for her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Park can be found spending time with her family and friends, travelling, trying food at new restaurants, and playing with her puppy, Rosie!
